Job Vacancy – Junior Operations Executive

If you’re beginning your career in market research or project management, this role as a Junior Operations Executive might be the job for you. We are looking for an honest, clever, and kind person to become the newest member of our Research Operations team. As part of this team you will be working on cutting-edge, world-first projects with global brands, supporting our brilliant team of consultants to set up projects using specially developed technology. We need a new member to help to manage projects which give brands unique insights into what gets people’s attention and why, allowing them to make informed strategic and creative decisions. The appetite for these projects is big and growing. We have run projects all over the world, from Australia to Japan across markets from fashion to healthcare. As part of a small but growing company, there’s plenty of opportunity to progress with the business.
You don’t need to have previous experience in market research, but you will need some key skills including systematic thinking and efficiency mindset, a passion for problem solving and excellent communication skills. Day-to-day you should be using these skills in the following ways:
  • Work with Attention Consultants to deliver successful projects: listen to client needs; assist in the setup and quality checks for your assigned projects ensuring these meet the specs laid out by the Attention Consultants; deliver projects effectively and profitably; communicate with third party suppliers to deliver the required services; support the maintenance of a positive and blame-free working environment that celebrates success and learns from mistakes
  • Improve efficiency and profitability of Lumen’s research operations: identify issues with our current systems; suggest improvements to senior team; support in the implementation of improvements; help keep documentation up to date
  • Develop financial awareness: have an awareness of and keep track of the costs associated with a project so you can proactively raise potential budget issues
